A May Wedding in Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Grand Teton National Park Intimate Wedding

Darcy and Josh had originally planned to get married in an epic destination wedding to Norway. But after travel shut down last year, and an elaborate proposal in Paris, France had to be pivoted to Paris, Texas, they decided to find a place in the US that looked as epic as Norway would–the Tetons.

The day was completely true to their original intention: to have the sole focus of the day be on their shared love; to feel small in a big place; to enjoy the peace of nature with those they most held dear. Darcy chose her details so specifically, from honoring her father watching from heaven, to a wood flower bouquet that will stand the test of time. Their first look at a park chapel honored their shared faith, and was the perfect moment for them to exchange special gifts before the ceremony.

These two are so much fun, and their shared love for adventure made for such a memorable and unique wedding day. They wanted to commemorate that by taking a canoe ride on one of the park lakes! Can you tell how cool Darcy is that she had no problem getting a boat into the water in her wedding dress?! It was absolutely the perfect and most authentic spring wedding in Grand Teton National Park!
