On a perfect, bluebird of a winter morning in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Reese & Seth prepared to tie the knot. Jackson Hole, a place Seth has a deep familial history with, was the obvious choice for them both as it holds such a special meaning in their hearts. I had the privilege of capturing every moment of their special day from start to finish, from getting ready with their closest friends and family to their stunning mountaintop ceremony and fun reception.
Reese was the perfect winter bride in her stunning Sareh Nouri dress. She shared some happy tears with her mom, maid of honor, and bridesmaids while they sipped on champagne and had their hair and makeup done. Seth and his groomsmen got ready in a separate room, and they shared sweet notes with one another before their first look.
Reese & Seth decided to have their first look in Grand Teton National Park, and got the perfect weather to do so with full mountain visibility. Seth’s reaction to seeing Reese for the first time in her wedding dress was truly every bride’s dream! The snow sparkled in the sunshine as they shared their beautiful, private vows & we took their photos in the park. For all winter weddings in Jackson Hole (and honestly, weddings all year round), we never know what kind of weather to expect. For a winter with 600+ inches of snow the fact that their wedding was timed so perfectly with the most beautiful sunny day we’d had in weeks was a miracle!
As our time in Grand Teton National Park, it was time to head back to Teton Village and make our way up the gondola to Rendezvous Lodge, where the ceremony and reception took place. The ride up the gondola was a breathtaking experience, with stunning views of the valley below and the snow-covered peaks all around.
The ceremony took place on the outdoor terrace of the lodge, with the stunning expanse of Teton Valley as the backdrop. The ceremony was cold, but no one really noticed because of how beautiful and meaningful the love these two share is. I’m so grateful I got to document this perfect wedding day for Reese & Seth!
